01—Services

Four modalities, and a second read.

Every study is reported by a board-certified consultant radiologist. What changes between them is which consultant, and how quickly the queue moves.

01 · CR

X-ray

The highest-volume study most centres run, and the one a backlog builds from first. Plain films are read and reported by a consultant, not triaged by whoever is free.

  • Chest, skeletal, abdominal and dental plain films
  • Reported against the clinical history sent with the study
  • Follow-ups linked to the earlier study, so a comparison is one click
02 · CT

CT

Cross-sectional studies read by consultants who read them daily. Emergency scans are flagged at intake and go to the top of the queue rather than into it.

  • Head, chest, abdomen, pelvis and contrast studies
  • Emergency priority set by the centre, honoured in assignment
  • Read in the browser at full series resolution
03 · MR

MRI

The studies where subspecialty matters most. An MRI brain goes to a neuroradiologist and an MRI breast to a breast imager — assignment is by subspecialty, not by availability.

  • Neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal and breast imaging
  • Assigned to the consultant whose subspecialty matches the study
  • Standardised report templates per study type
04 · 2ND

Second opinion

A second read on a study already reported, whether the first report came from RadSync or from somewhere else. For the cases where confidence matters more than turnaround.

  • Available to facilities, clinicians and patients
  • Read by a different consultant from the original reporter
  • Returned as its own signed report, not an annotation on the first
